How I test a football heat map guessing game

A heat map is a useful football clue because it communicates role and movement without naming the player. The hard part is keeping the clue informative but not instantly decisive.

For a recent playtest I used the Football Heat Map guessing game on Wordle Cup. I checked the same round on desktop and mobile, then wrote down where the answer became obvious.

My three checks

1. The map should show a recognizable role, not a single unmistakable player.
2. The first clue should leave at least two plausible answers.
3. A wrong guess should make the next clue more useful rather than simply reveal the answer.

This small checklist helps separate a fair football clue from a trivia question that is either random or too easy.
